By the pricking of my thumbs something yummy this way comes. First thing let's talk about the steak it was hands down the best steak that our steak orderer has had in his opinion in 50 plus years of eating them. From the quality of the meat to the perfection of a medium rare cooking the steak was a certainly no trick but instead a treat for the taste buds. The Chicken Curry was a moreish, creamy flavor explosion with a mild comforting hug on the heat scale and well prepared boiled rice that complimented the dish.

Food is absolutely amazing. We eat here every time I visit Newcastle Co Down. Tried the cocktails yesterday and they were lovely. Staff are very friendly and always go above and beyond. Highly recommend Great Jones. Excellent food amazing staff and fantastic vibe

My boyfriend and I had lunch here on Friday 4th April and I couldn’t write a more glowing review. The staff (a man dark haired with a beard) served us in which he was very attentive, frequently checking in with us to make sure everything met their standards. Couldn’t have had a more friendly member of staff. The atmosphere was beautiful, we were there approx 330pm when it was quiet and sunny. I cannot rave enough about the food. They had a visible vegetarian/vegan section which several items to choose from. We picked the chilli nachos and vegetarian burger which was unreal! Especially for the price! Couldn’t believe we were getting five star service and food quality at a low price (Definitely undercharging for the food you provide) Have not stopped talking about how good this place is - 100% the nicest food I have ever had. In summary, it is a five star restaurant in diguise.

Such a fab place! Perfect for me as a vegetarian, food was so well presented and loads of flavour. One of the best feeds I’ve had in a while. Staff are also so polite and lovely. Highly recommend!!!
